Education and Training

We are dedicated to elevating the industry and improving how AV is delivered to end-users. Education and training are in our DNA. We believe in sharing the knowledge we’ve gained with our AV clients and peers through our educational offerings.

We offer audiovisual training from several industry associations, including CTS classes from AVIXA and CQD and CQT classes from AQAV. We also offer an array of custom training programs all focused on improving the effectiveness of your AV support team.

Our Team of Educators

We believe in the power of education. We are fortunate to have AVIXA senior faculty instructors as well as AQAV instructors on staff. Two of our instructors have also received InfoComm/AVIXA Educator of the Year Awards. When we say we take AV education seriously, we mean it. Get to know some of our educators!

      AV Boot Camp

      We offer multi-day, in-depth, in-person bootcamps to fully explore topics requested by technology managers. We have built our bootcamps around the topics that are currently challenging the people tasked with managing AV assets and offer an opportunity for them to collaborate with their peers as well as experts in the field. Participants will walk away armed with knowledge and take-home documentation to improve the way they manage AV technology.

      AV Technology Management 101: We will explore the tasks required of technology managers and present tools to make this monumental undertaking easier and more effective.
      • Day 1:
        Evaluate and specify new technologies.
      • Day 2:
        Program management and quality assurance.
      • Day 3:
        System management and monitoring.

      INDUSTRY TRAINING

      We offer training from industry associations, including CTS classes from AVIXA and CQD and CQT classes from AQAV. Our world-class instructors include two AVIXA Educators of the Year, AVIXA senior faculty instructors, and AQAV certified trainers. We can bring this industry training directly to your team, or you can send your team to our training facilities in Mesa, AZ. We offer flexibility with industry trainings, while still maintaining the same level of instruction you would find at AVIXA or AQAV events.
      The CQT class focuses on the staging and commissioning checklists used to assure that systems are delivered on time, complete, and with little, if any, service issues.

      CQD focuses on verifying the designs are complete and will meet the user requirements before the systems get built. By having a design review process in place, we can catch issues before they become problems.

      Tailored End-User Operations & Maintenance Training

      If users and operators are not comfortable with the installed technology, it cannot be considered a successfully integrated system. We are believers in assuring there are no obstacles to the use of the system. That is largely dependent on make sure the system owners have a team of certified, trained users of the systems. We leverage criteria-based training where most of the learning comes from hands-on exercising of the system. Using the systems becomes “easy”, which is exactly our goal.

      Custom Team Augmentation & Improvement Training

      Sometimes an organization requires a custom blend of device-level training with pieces of industry training mixed in. Our experienced team of AV educators can create curricula customized to meet your exact training needs. Maybe you don’t require a full AQAV certification, but you still want your team to gain experience using AV testing equipment on your own systems. Maybe you want to find out more about SIMSTATION deployments. Maybe you just want a class on reading AV drawings. We can assist you with these customized training programs from some of the best instructors in the industry.
