A Corporate Headquarters AV Case Study

Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, a manufacturer for high-performance aerospace and medical technology products expanded their East Coast presence to the heart of the Arizona Valley – Scottsdale, Arizona. Level 3 Audiovisual was engaged by CBRE Project Management to design and integrate over 29 rooms throughout this Corporate Headquarters Relocation. Through significant discussions and planning with the Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, IT Director, Level 3 Audiovisual arrived at a corporate AV standard featuring the following:

Executive Boardroom

Level 3 Audiovisual provided ensuring that the Carlisle Interconnect Technologies executive team can enable quick connection with colleagues and business partners around the world. At the front of the boardroom, there features a 2×2 65” Samsung LED Video Wall, providing a seamless HD display. With the touch of a button, the Carlisle Executive team quickly turn the system on and off, selecting audio or video sources, adjusting volume, dialing, and conference control.

Meeting Spaces

From the executive boardroom, to huddle spaces, and smaller conference rooms, Level 3 Audiovisual provided trouble-free presenting by utilizing Barco ClickShare. The Carlisle team can now simply share their laptop or mobile device on the main presentation screen with no hassle or messy cables – just quick and confident sharing.

In today’s world of digitally collaborating, meeting spaces require to multipurpose and multi-functional. With the use of Vaddio USB Video Conferencing the Carlisle Interconnect Team has an entirely new level of video conferencing. With sharp video and powerful sound, the HD Vaddio Video Conferencing camera provides amazing high-quality imaging, exceptional color reproduction and truly fine detail. To ensure high-quality imagery, we installed each conferencing room with 80” LED Displays. In AV conferencing environments, ceiling mic arrays and wireless mics are a revolutionary conferencing technology choice, that was installed in Carlisle’ meeting spaces. These microphones are premium when capturing the best-in-class audio in any conferencing environment, utilizing up to eight beams to capture participant audio from overhead. To accent these technology features, we installed Crestron and Biamp Switching, simplifying and increasing the idea of a multipurpose and functional meeting space.

Carlisle Interconnect Technologies desired to gain full control of their C-Suite offices. Therefore, Level 3 Audiovisual installed Crestron touch panels for the control of Barco ClickShare. With Crestron Touch, users gain the control of the entire room, conveniently from the beautiful, stylish touch screen. They provide high performance and high security with sleek design and an exceptionally intuitive user experience. The new generation of offices, require a fast and powerful processor, high security, light sensors, and back-lit capacities buttons. The Crestron Touch Panels do just so.

More features include: 60” Samsung LED Vaddio PTX videoconferencing camera, Vaddio Wired Mic w/ dial pad, Crestron table box with flip up 5.7” touch panel.

Combine Divide Training Room

Combine/Divide Large Training Room features two Epson Projectors with motorized 120” screens, in ceiling retractable microphones, in ceiling speakers, Vaddio ceiling mounted PTZ cameras for IP video conferencing, Crestron and Biamp video and audio switchers, Crestron Capture HD for video recording/streaming, Barco ClickShare at each Lectern, and two 10” Crestron touch panels giving each Trainer the ability to control all AV systems for their room when divided as well as control of the entire training room when combined.

Sound Masking & Room Scheduling

With the need to reduce office noise, we installed Cambridge sound masking with over 100 emitters. Sound masking increases privacy and productivity. Employees can waste as much as 86 minutes per day due to noise distractions. Sound masking helps reduce noise distractions. Reclaiming the loss of productivity, requires a more organized approach of room scheduling. Level 3 Audiovisual integrated Extron Room Schedulers outside of each conference and huddle room. Extron has simplified the room booking experience that consists of elegantly-designed TouchLink
Scheduling Panels that connect directly to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, or Google Calendar. Users reserve rooms with a couple of taps on the panel or even from their mobile device.
